Cultivated Silk, also called Bombyx silk or mulberry silk, is produced from silk worms in captivity and feed only mulberry leaves. The silk is 10-13 microns and very white.
Tussah Silk - Bleached. Tussah silk is a natural, honey-beige colour and is produced by wild silk worms. The Antherea mylitta caterpillar produces Tussah silk and eats leaves from the Arjun, Asan or Oak tree.
