Ashford Kiwi 3 Spinning Wheel, with folding pedals plus Kiwi Sliding and Super Flyers
Lovely little "beginner" wheel with easy treadling and easy assembly. Double treadle (*new Folding pedals*), affordable price, 3 ratios (5.5:1, 7.5:1, 9.5:1), stretchy drive cord. Three large bobbins, orifice hook and Learn to Spin Booklet are included. Scotch tension allows easy control of the drafting process. Small foot print, easy to take along to spin-ins and classes. Wheel is made of MDF, a high-density durable wood product that can be painted or decorated.
Although this wheel is referred to as "beginner" we've sold lots of them to spinners who keep them for a long time! The improvements to hardware and addition of High Speed and Jumbo flyers make them affordable and great to spin on.
The Kiwi comes with a built-in Lazy Kate as well as 3 bobbins, hook and booklet.
Available separately are the Super High Speed Kit (drive band and whorl, 7.5, 10 and 15:1) and the Super Flyer Kit which comes with the Super Flyer, 3 Super capacity bobbins, and a Lazy Kate.
**If you have an older Joy you can purchase a Sliding Hook Flyer Unit + Bobbin (plus extra bobbins) to enable you to spin larger amounts.**
