Ashford Warping Frames and Mill
To create a warp of correct size and tension a warping frame is essential. This strong frame (lacquered finish) has pegs set firmly at regular intervals. Ashford's large warping frame holds a 11 m (37 ft) warp and the small holds a 4.5 m (14.5 ft) warp.
Ashford's rotating mill is perfect for quick and easy warping of large warps with the strain taken by the strong uprights and not the pegs. The bars holding the cross pegs are moveable, so any length can be wound up to approximately 15 m (50 ft).
