 Ashford dyes are very easy to use and the colours are clear and bright. They are weak acid dyes so white vinegar (or citric acid) can be used to fix the dyes making them suitable for the home dyer. The dyes are for wool, silk and other animal (protein) fibres and are fully concentrated with only 10 gm (⅓ oz) dyeing 1 kg (2.2 lbs) of fibre or yarns.  Buy individually by 10 or 100 gm pot or in collections.  Primary Collection: Red, Sapphire and Bright Yellow CMYK Collection: Turquoise, Bright Pink, Bright Yellow and Coal (cmyk stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and "key" or black, the colours used in the printing process). Set of 12: all colours except Bright Pink and Bright Yellow.
                  There are 14 colours that have been carefully selected for compatibility and when mixed will produce a wide range of hues. 

The dyes are safe and easy to use and comply with Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
